Bell's Scotch Whisky Miniatures

Probably the best known brand in the UK, Bells blended Scotch Whisky has a mellow taste which proves acceptable to most. The Bell’s brand was established in 1825 by Arthur Bell when he started by selling whisky and tea from a small shop in Perth, Scotland. After almost 30 years of experience he discovered that blending a variety of whiskies produced a drink which was more acceptable to most people. Today, Bell’s is produced in the same way, by blending some of the finest malt and grain Scotch whiskies and matured in oak casks to give a distinctive rich but mellow flavour.

The word ‘famous’ was added in 1905 when his blended Whisky had become much sought after. 2 years later the company moved to bigger premises in Perth in order to cope with demand. The company hasn’t looked back and by 2006 they had shipped 3 million cases of The Famous Grouse Whisky throughout the world.

Wild Turkey

America’s premium Bourbon Whiskey, Wild Turkey is aged for 8 years in oak casks and has a distinctive rich taste with a hint of caramel, honey and brown sugar. Bourbon whiskies are produced under strict guidelines which result in their distinctive character. Wild Turkey is produced in the Ripy family distillery on what is now famously known as Wild Turkey Hill in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The distillery has been producing whiskey since 1869. In 1954 distillery executive Thomas McCarthy took a private supply of special Bourbon to the annual wild turkey hunt. The following year when asked for more of his ‘Wild Turkey ‘ bourbon he had the idea to create what is now a legendary brand.

Jack Daniels Miniatures

America’s Tennessee whiskey has a strong distinctive flavour and is one of the world’s biggest brands. JD’s Old No.7 is perfect on its own or with your favourite mixer. Produced at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee; using the original recipe perfected by Jack Daniel himself in 1866. Similar in taste and style to traditional bourbon, JD is filtered through maple charcoal and aged in old barrels which results in a stronger, more whiskey like character. There are many legends relating to the use of the No7. One theory is that it represents the 7th recipe or trial batch although there is no official record to prove this.

Teacher’s Highland Cream

Originated by William Teacher from his business, which he ran with his two sons, providing blended whiskies. Teacher, by this time, had gained many years experience, having started selling whisky from his wife’s grocery store in Glasgow in 1832 and progressing to open his first licensed ‘Dram Shop’ in 1856. One particular blend became very popular and in 1863 Teacher’s Highland Cream was born. In 1972 teacher’s achieved UK sales in excess of one million cases and in 1976 the company was sold to Allied Distillers. Teacher’s is now a major best seller here in the UK and around the world.

Jameson Irish Whiskey Miniatures

Established in Dublin, Ireland in 1780 by John Jameson and now produced in Cork, Jameson's Irish Whiskey is renowned for it’s unique pallet and smooth flavour. The company is now owned by Pernod Ricard but the traditional ethos still holds true that Jameson only use their own ingredients and stick to the single distillery method although the single malt is slightly different to other distillers as the whiskey is produced by combining both malted and unmalted barley which gives Jameson’s its unique taste.

Johnnie Walker Black Label

A unique blend of around 40 different 12 year old whiskies Black Label is a premium, ward winning whisky brand.
